After being hospitalized by the end of 1973 Elvis returned to Vegas in January 1974. All the big ballads were gone and he played more of the faster tunes this season. Even some songs from his early Vegas days were back on the setlist. Elvis was in a good mood, but avoided long monologues. His voice was strong and his singing was focused. The artwork of this production is nice, there are some candid pics and nice liner notes. The sound is only average, but still enjoyable if your ears are used to audience recordings.
