This suit is not as rare as a lot of people believe. It's been used several times in Vegas (January/February 1974) and during the evening performance at the Houston Astrodome in March 1974.

Little known fact: Although they appear as different colors depending on the light, the stones in this suit are clear (colorless), the ovals and middle rounds are crystal AB, and the corners are rose/chaton rhinestones sz. ss48.

Was this suit also worn in Las Vegas during the August - September 1973 season, like its blue version?

I was in Memphis over Halloween and I took a bunch of close up photos of the jumpsuits....would like to share with you guys.

(here's the first batch)....others to follow in the coming days.

I never liked this suit in PHOTOS but was mesmorized by in up close.

I was never too fond of this suit and i dont know why . Maybe its because Elvis didnt look well in most pictures of him wearing it .

I have to disagree on the stone colors, the big oval stones are colored crystal Ab mirror finish which is correct, but the rest are all colorless. the color you see in the smaller stones is just a prisim effect from the oval stones. if you look the small stones in the pattern are facetted with cuts like a diamond, not just round top. Pictures in entry #14 show this. Its a great sleek suit with not over coloring. i see this it as a colorless turquise suit pattern.
