A dvd titled Elvis? Memphis - A Magical History Tour will be released on October 30. The dvd will feature a documentary by Mike Freeman, a historian at the University of Memphis. He takes us on a personal guided tour of the Elvis Memphis sites.

Under his expert and enthusiastic guidance, we visit around fifty locations, including Sun Studios, Humes High School and his teenage home and many other Elvis related sites.

We cruise the eateries where the King hung out with his Memphis Mafia buddies, the karate school, where he perfected the infamous kicks and punches of his stage act and meeting the Memphis folks who are best able to tell you how it all came about.

Also due for release on November 13 is another dvd titled Beyond Elvis? Memphis. This dvd takes us on a journey deep into Elvis territory, visiting locations such as his schools, where he bought his first guitar in Tupelo, Graceland, Nashville, and the Grand Ole Opry and many other sites

I've done a tour around Memphis before and it was great. At the time I was thinking my guide was so good it would have been cool to have a video of the tour. So if I can find this I'll most likely get it.
