Remember I told you guys that I had ordered this book back in July and was upset that I had not received it?

Well I called yesterday (Steamroller Publishing) and was given another number to call (TCB Joe) and left a message. Last night a very nice lady named Lydia returned my call (she's in Vegas) and I explained what happened and she was very upset at how long this has taken. She took all my info again and assured me a book would get out right away to me. She said she is going to talk to Joe E. and try and compensate me somehow for the long wait. I explained to her that I wasn't the only one who has waited so long and that I had read on this forum others with same problem. I told her, "please tell Mr. Esposito that us Elvis fans are all over the world and we are on the same message boards usually and we spread the word, so it really doesn't look good for him." She agreed of course..

But anyway, my main point is, I now have a direct # to TCB Joe Publishing and a contact name, so if any of you are having this same problem please let me know and I'll be glad to share her info with you - also I have her email. This lady was very nice and apologetic - so hopefully this time I'll get my darn book! :hmm:

What is this book about again? Is this the book that was supposed to come out in volumes (you know "Volume 1", "Volume 2" etc)? Wasn't there a book that he was also going to publish but was cancelled?

www.elvisstraightup.com I think this is the website. It's just Joe E. talking about stories with Elvis I guess. I think the volumes you are talking about is called Elvis Up Close or something like that - not exactly sure. Hopefully that web site is still up and you can check it out.

Yes, Straight Up is the book that was suppose to come out in Volumes, but after Volume 1, Volume 2 has been cancelled...I don't know the reason why...

Lack of sales seems to have put the kabosh on this series of books. It was a dopey idea in the first place.
