View Full Version : Elvis a big part of new Rock & Roll Theme Park
Watch this video. It is about a new theme park called Hard Rock Park being built in Myrtle Beach, SC. There's an Elvis theme as part of what is called Mount Rockmore. like the park idea but something like this would have been bigger and better put in Orlando tied in with Disney World the way The Holy Land Experience is today. Memphis would have also been an ideal place. But I doubt that they would have had the finances to pull off something this big. Below is the video to a news report.

Mount Rockmore is hideous! None of the figures look like who they're supposed to be, especially the one of Elvis.

Why do you have to take a cheap shot at Bob Sillerman at every chance you get? What is so bad that he has done? All I have seen is good things that keeps EP hot and hip to a younger generation that before couldn't care less about him, Now kids are watching EP specials featuring their idols today and it's earning EP respect that he wouldn't have gotten before and that should be all that matters.
Back to topic. I do agree that the rock replicas are not really all that great. The EP face does not look anything like him from the video I saw. Maybe it does up close and in person.
