I do not know if Elvis ever wore this suit on stage or not. But I saw it when I visited Graceland and it is beautiful!

Las Vegas,NV. February 1973.
During his many shows in Vegas throughout the years Elvis had a wide variety of jumpsuits that were designed for him by Bill Belew.
Some are pretty well known and seen numerous times while others were 'one day suit' or seldom worn. The one above is quite rare, most of the stones on it are white while the larger stones being of blue color.

Elvis had certainly a belt designed with this jumpsuit but in June 1972 (occasionally) he started to take the belt off early into the show. Most of the times he wasn't using it for the rest of the show. This new fashion so-to-speak was frequent during the first 1973 Vegas season.

Hi,
There seems to be no mention on the jumpsuit forum about the two Multicolored Rain jumpsuits (see photo). Only one is referred to.
Don't think EP wore either of these, but it's the first time I noticed there were two of them.
Any thoughts?

This is a repost. Somehow a lot of posts disappeared. The one below was one of them so I try it again.
Here is the belt that belongs to the 1973 "Multi Coulored Rain Suit". Some who have been to Gracelend might recognise this belt. The staff of Graceland made a mistake by using this belt on the 1973 "Arabian".
I also inluded a picture of the cape that belongs to the "Multi Coloured Rain Suit".
As always great Info Leroy (y)

I am happy. Today I received the belt buckle of the blue rain suit.
It makes a nice addition to my buckle collection.

It's the rectangular one on the front at the left side with the hole in it.

Where did you get these? And my next question: Would you be willing to take a picture of each item?

And the collection keeps growing. Just managed to buy the wheat suit (1972) buckle and the Egyptian buckle!
If they arrive before Christmas that would be a special Christmas gift for myself.

There is a great pic of the cape for this multi color suit on rareelvispresley.com under the belts and capes tab, its the 4th picture cap , its the one at the left of 4 displayed, it's with silver lame' lining. The belt for this is actually displayed with the '73 jeweled king of spades suit. why they don't just display it and the cape on the multi suit i don't know. there are plenty of suits that are displayed without a belt, they could very well do that with the king of spade suit as the belt actually went missing.

The reason he took the belts off was to do his Karate at the end of suspicious minds, there are videos of this with the white pinwheel suit on you tube Kansas city '71 he took the belt off, but then closing song he put the belt back on. also madison square garden pics show him with no belt, but then put the belt back on upside down.

Im just taking an educated guess but.... It has been stated that when boxer Muhammad Ali met Elvis in vegas in '73 he commented on Elvis's jumpsuit he was wearing and said that's a nice suit. So Elvis had a robe made for Ali and presented it to him and he wore it in the ring. But nobody, even Bill belew mentioned which suit it was modeled after or the suit Ali liked. My guess is THIS suit was made in '73 and WORN and had to be for Ali to perhaps have commented on it so Elvis had This suit sent back to IC costumes to have them replicate it. And that might account for why THIS suit is not in any pictures, because Elvis only wore it that one time . If you look at the Ali robe and on B&K costumes website it is the same colored rain fall pattern accept for the star burst circle accents they added on it.
