I wish I had lots of money to spare..... I don't collect or have any Elvis merchandise, but I really like to own a personal belonging of Elvis. The problem (even when I would have had the money) is that I always doubt if it's really a personal belonging of Elvis.

The stories of Elvis buying tons of jewelry for friends without having owned it himself, are wellknown. And what would sell better: saying that Elvis had a necklace made for a person and never owned it himself, or saying that it was one of Elvis' favourite necklaces that he wore himself many times and that he gave it away as a personal gift? The second story would bring much more money to the seller....

And all those certificates that are given by EPE or the former members of the Memphis Maffia wouldn't take away my doubts :hmm:

the closet i have got to an actual elvis owned item was my dads friends item.He has the red ttwii rehearsal shirt (y) .Whether its not the real thing (even though he payed top dolar from 'elvis memories' who are very reliable) who knows. The one time though he got it out of the frame and i actual touched the arm, whether fake or not it kinda felt like a little bit of elvis (y) (y) (y)
