How much footage exist from the filming of This is Elvis? I'm sure there are more, than they've put on the DVD, don't you think? :supriced:
Since "This is Elvis" is mainly scenes from other sources, they did not do a lot of new filming other than the "recreations scenes with Elvis doubles" they used existing TV clips from the 50s- Ed Sullivan, Milton Berle etc, home movies and clips from EOT and TTWII. But there is a lot of film still in vaults from EOT and TTWII.

Totally true! (y) I can't wait until they decide to drag out some more of that footage and put it out on the market. But then, maybe they are holding on to that stuff for another reason....:hmm:

Hi, Let's hope we have a deluxe 'Elvis on Tour' with LOTS of extra material (a 3 dvd set would be most welcome). What do you think?

they filmed the whole scene in the beginning that Elvis played racketball and then played the piano and everything. Johnny Harra who played Elvis in the beginning told that in an interview in '85
I recently bought this dvd. I thought it was great
