Like I may have mentioned before: you'll fall in love with Elvis for his music (y) ,
you'll fall in love with him for his stunning looks:jawdrop::wub:,
but I personally also fell in love with him for his overall hilarious sense of humor and his totally infectious laugh:lmfao: (y)

Now my question is: does anyone of you know if there's a site out there with soundfiles of him messing up stuff or just in general of files that have him laughing? I'd love to download those :P

Thanks in advance! (y)

Yes, thank you Paulie, I already had that one (that's the one that made me fall in love with that laugh, LOL) but not in as good a quality as your sample, so thanks a lot for that! Too bad there's no video of it.

Now there's a thousand versions of the story on what made him laugh here, too:rolleyes: anyone know the true version?

Anyone else got Elvis' great laugh to share? <beg> :worthy:

The latest FTD release POLK SALAD ANNIE contains quite an amusing version of the title song, where Elvis finds himself in a fit of the giggles!! :P

I don't know if there's any specific site out there. However, there are lots of releases with Elvis laughing.

The latest FTD: Paradise Hawaiian Style has some great laughter on it!

Remember Datin' from the 1981 Elvis Aron Presley box?

On PHS you get more fun with A Dog's Life and Hawaii USA!

:lmfao: Patience he says HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Sorry, Paulie, but that word's not usually used in one sentence with my name attached to it ;) I'm a bit like our man in that department: 30 minute shopping sprees, that's me.

But for you, and because of all the trouble you're willing to go through to get me these soundfiles, I'll be very patient ;) (y)

I can not say that I am Mr. Patience myself when it comes to new Elvis stuff ;) It is just in my nature to want everything N-O-W!

You are very welcome, I hope you will enjoy the files, be sure to tell me what you think of them.

Whatchoo think I am...

Speaking of Polk Salad Annie, could somebody post the "Poke A Little Sock Salad" rehearsal? There's some great E laughter to be heard on that one.

Or actually, just listen to it here, from Jordan's site. (http://jordans-elvis-world.com/audio/cutme/cutme.htm)

By the way, I know it's only a 2 years' difference, but to me this always sounded more like it was from 1970 than 1972. But if it is from March 31, 1972, maybe they have video of it :!: , along with Young And Beautiful (as discussed in the other thread) and who knows what other goodies. It would be hilarious to watch, I bet.

E.L.V.I.S.: beach shack? From which recording is that?

Lonnie: thanks for the great link! (y)

(ooooh, that drugs monologue :'( , is that from that same concert that left members of his band crying when they left the stage, September 1974?)

I agree with you Cherokee. Elvis had a wonderful sence of humor and a great laugh. Did you hear about the story where he takes his whole gang by the nose at Christmas? Normally they all got a good filled envelope, but Elvis played a practical joke on them on year, by giving them a cheque for McDonalds. He couldn't stop laughing when he saw does faces. Lol. Ofcource they got their real check too. That was the kind of humor Elvis had.

Be safe and take care,

LOL, yeah, that was a good one. How about the story of Patty Parry, that she gave Scatter a right hook that sent Elvis falling off the couch laughing! God, wish I'd been there at that moment. His laughter would have caused some serious breathing problems for me :P ;)
