dear all,
found on a german page that announces an exhibition (aug. 16th - sept. 16th), located in the friedberg ray barracks, commemorating elvis' army years in germany.
the event is hosted by the city of friedberg and the public hessian broadcast company (hr4).
there will be about 200 items on display, compiled from private and public collections, among them (one of) elvis uniformjacket(s). the close up decorates the official leaflet.
opening hours daily 11 AM - 6 PM, no admission is charged. the exhibition is accompanied by many extras like concerts, guided tours, meetings with contemporary witnesses etc.
