I think it wasn't recorded at all, Anoushka.

Most of the soundboards they made in 1977 are far from complete. But this one sure misses a lot, I agree...

But at the time the sound engineers started taping right after I Got A Woman/Amen, because probably they figured: those are always the same.
But they never really knew what would happen after Elvis had finished those two songs.
And because of the fact Elvis didn't visit any studios anymore, they taped most of the shows after Elvis had finished I Got A Woman, and tried to get what they could!

:cold: I do not think that Elvis had a lot of memories form Kalamazoo, because he seems to be quite stoned. Fairytale is skipped after a few bars and when Elvis tries to talk his speech seems to be slurred. But still he tries to sing some songs, that where not on his everyday agenda. If only his condition had been better!

CD "Memories of Kalamazoo" from the label Vavavoom gives us a far from complete soundboard recording of the Kalamazoo, Michigan, April 26, 1977 show. The show is not an inspiring one, I really can't think of one song that stood out. For the collectors this is another one to add at their collection, but unfortunately very short.

Hello,

it's really not the most inspiring show even in '77 there were far better shows concerning repertoire and Elvis' condition.

I couldn't open/download Sonnys cover zip. Is that still because of the server problem or is the link just broken.

I'd be very thankful for the covers if there's anything there.:)
