In the "Sun" newspaper yesterday (4 Aug) they printed a nice little tribute story to Elvis on their editorial page, this is what they wrote:
Love Him Tender
This month marks the 30th anniversary of the death of the greatest rock star of all - Elvis "The King" Presley.
Difficult to imagine now but he horrified parents in the fifties and sixties with his swivelling hips and sexy songs.
But those tunes liberated the young and finally made teenagers a force to be reckoned with.
They were all shook up and loved him tender as he performed his brand of jailhouse rock.
And fans will play Elvis songs long after today's one-hit, talent show wannabes get the message: Return To Sender!
