I have been rooting through my stuff again and I thought all you younger fans might like this, this is the annual book for a girls comic/fanzine called Valentine from 1960, these mags were released especially for girls/teenagers and featured all the big stars of that era Cliff, Marty wilde,Billy Fury etc, and every christmas time they would release the valentine pop special this one was number 2 it featured a 12 page story on Elvis from his army days till his release, there was a few pictures 2 full page ones as shown, there was a poll on the top ten stars guess who was number 1, a few cartoon strip stories all lovey dovey stuff, and what was funny to me was they asked all the stars what their favorite type of girl was and apparently they all said they were not interested in the tall leggy blondes but they would prefer the homely down to earth type that you could take home to mother ( its not that I dont believe they said that but you would think at least one would of liked blondes) please dont think I have anything against blondes because I haven't its just that they all mentioned them as if it was compulsory
