Um, where have you been? It's been registered as a National Historic Landmark for over a year now. This was announced nationally back in 2006.

I just checked and the designation of Graceland being on the National Register Of Historic Places took place on November 7, 1991. It's entirely different from Graceland's designation as a National Historic Landmark on March 27, 2006.
