[hardware] Types of Microphones (computer)

I recently purchased a new mic/headset for when I host the TCB Radio show, yet I am not satisfied with its performance.

Can anyone recommend a brand or type of microphone (for the computer) that is proven to give excellent results.

I know that Sennheiser makes very good mic/headset for the computer(y) but they are also very expensive :'( .
