I am just wondering where the photo of Elvis and Jackie kahane is taken ?

This picture was taken just before the show in Ann Arbor, Michigan on April 24th, 1977.

It's one of my favorite backstage pictures. There's a kind of serenity in Elvis appearance.

I like this one too,but i don't think he looked very well.there is something with his eyes

Elvis was far from being well when that photo was taken.For me it's a somber photograph.Elvis was in deep trouble at that point.

Wow! some fan I am... I didn't know Jackie Kahane was dead until I looked it up just now. Seems he died March 26, 2001 (age 79) of cancer. It said also that he performed a eulogy at ELVIS' funeral. Does anyone have the text of the eulogy or know where it can be found? :hmm:

I used to wish he would just get off the stage when I was waiting for Elvis come out...but I am sad to read that he has actually... left the stage.

That is correct. The photo was taken April 24, 1977 before the show and the song Unchained Melody is from the show that appears on Moody Blue.

nice photo but elvis looks sad not his usual cheery self a good suit non the less i think it hides his weight problem that is developing thanks for posting it

I'm with you on that, Leroy. I feel the same about the Keith Alverson photo from Montgomery 2.15.77 -- the cover used on the FTD Unchained Melody.

Nice enhancement there, Erhan. I made an avatar out of that image a few years ago and I cleaned it up a bit as well. If I find it, I'll post it.
