When was this song recorded? It is one of my favorites. I was thinking 74?

This song was recorded at "Stax" studios in Memphis, Tennessee on December 13, 1973.

It was also included in Elvis' Lp, GOOD TIMES, released in March of 1974.

You were close !!! LOL

As have I. That and Goodtime Charlie's Got The Blues, recorded the same day, are among the best ever in my opinion. Though I love listening to alternate takes, the masters of these two songs are impeccable and pure Elvis magic.

Don't forget the version Felton Jarvis re did for the Guitar Man/To Much Monkey Business releases.I think this one works well with the new backing
