Same Vegas engagement yes, but it is amateur footage from the audience.
Pretty good for an audience film(y)

Fans weren't allowed to bring cameras in....so for those that "broke the rules" and snuck them in.

To go with the Elvis :king: 70 footage....
I ran across this neat ol' article from Rolling Stone Magazine (Sept. 70) last night and thought some might get enjoyment reading it. :D

What's even sweeter for me is ......I was there in August of 70 (but not opening night)....
The short fringe jumpsuit is the very first I ever saw on him.
These wonderful YouTube videos...sure do take me back to fantastic times in my life. :notworthy:notworthy:notworthy

Wow SweetCaroline, you saw him in that suit the first time you saw him! How lucky you are. How many times did you see him? And how close were you the first time you saw him?

I lost count  of how many times I saw ELVIS in Vegas (isn't that awful...but also great that it was so many times I lost track) :D The first time I saw him I didn't get next to the stage. I was centered....and on the lower tables that were perpendicular to the stage... but several people (5-6) from the stage itself. Still, darn close, compared to the tour venues. ;) Those Vegas shows were really up close and personal...considering...just a 2,000 people audience.(y)

I do feel blessed to have been there, Toffe. I lived in San Diego in those years, and had been a fan since I was a young girl of nine. Once I found out he was performing in Vegas ...there is no way anyone could have stopped me from getting there.
It was only 300 miles and a 4 hour drive. :D
The hardest part each season he appeared was grabbing a couple reservations before they SOLD OUT. :)
One of the show seasons (mind is gone....it was late 73 or early 74 trip) I was working in a dental office and I was struggling getting my reservations. My boss was somehow related to Kirk Kirkorian .....so he took care of getting my reservation to see ELVIS that season. Being young and naive at the time...I had no clue at the time who Kirkorian :hmm: was....just glad to get the reservations.

SweetCaroline I too have loved Elvis sinse I was about 6 years old. I saw him once when I was 9, but I was very far away, but I was so happy for that you would not believe. I could just sit and listen to your stories forever, cause you seem so sweet and true, and now your a hero to me in a sense. To not be able to count how many times you saw him cause it was so many, thats fantastic. You said you wernt alowed to bring camaras, so you never took any pictures? I have pictures but he is so far away they are not that good.
