I did read this on another post Franny but I'm glad you posted it. I don't know about this one......I don't have good feelings about Joe.

A friend of mine & I are going to order this book. It will be the first time I've ever bought anything from Joe. Its what my friends & I do....Compare the "truths" they say ; book to book. ;)
None of us get mad about any of our opinions.....it's just to get anothers "take on things" with no arguing .
It's always fun & we always learn something....

I wondered about that. At first I thought "Straight Up" was a working title for Joe's Volume 1. Is this Volume 2, then? The excerpt was interesting, I'll have to admit. I'll have to think some more before I decide to buy either book.

As I've questioned the West's; so too I must question Esposito.
WHY has he waited 30 years to "set the record straight???
Why not the first book or any of them after that??

The only reason I've decided to buy this book ; is I noticed he's said some of the same things Vernon said......I want to see how in depth he might go.I have no high expectations...just want to compare the stories, including what he's said before. ;)
