I have recived a book from my friend called The Inner Elvis written by Peter Whitmer, PH.D Has Any one read this book. there was this picture in the book the only known photo of elvis with an impersonater. ( which is the real elvis)
They both look like elvis to me do you think this pic could have been doctord.

Elvis is on the right :-) That's a flattering angle for the guy. Doesn't always look that close.

I know some people on here say they know the guy who took this photo (get him to show us the negatives!), but I've always believed this photo to be a fake, ever since I first saw it in the late 70s.

Thanks for the link t-j. i have to agree with you srj1967 i think it is a fake and to prove its not show us the negatives. does any one know about peter whitmer the guy who wrote the book.

Actually, it's nothing like it.

That bloody ***** elvisfan4ever accused me of passing off someone else's work as my own. In this case, I am questioning the authenticity of a photograph.

Big difference.

Not taking up for anyone here ....but, I've been assured that picture is fake also. IF someone has proof it isn't....it would be nice if they would/could settle this once & for all. :)

The man; Larry Blong has a "real" name & it's not L.B.
I only know where I come from , one HAS to prove what they say .
NOT calling anyone a liar at all..... just some proof positive would be appreciated .;)

That photo was published in a book by Bud Glass a short time ago.I believe the story behind it was included.I dont have the book here right now so I can look it up.Bud Glass is a very thorough researcher.I have always heard the photo was authentic.Just a chance meeting at the gate.
