Has anybody heard when this event is taking place in Memphis. I've heard talk that it is suppose to be at the 30th Anniversary, but I never heard any details on tickets etc. Anyone know anything about this.

Hadn't heard anything of this, even raised an eyebrow when I read it and thought "Rolf Harris!!??" THEn I did a quick google search to see if I could find anything about it for you, I couldn't, but found this. Seeing where you are from you maybe heard about it, but I think its a great painting! Thanks for guiding me down a path I never would have thought of taking!

Thanks for replying. I did a google on Rolf myself but all I could find was the 2002 painting as well.
I heard about this latest one from British FanClub. It did say that Rolf was going to Memphis in August and was presenting his painting at Graceland. I'm not exactly sure if it will be a ticket event, but it would be great if it was, as I think they said that Priscilla and Lisa were going to be there for it.

I'm gonna be there myself in August, but theres no mention on the Elvis Week schedule. Must investigate!

I did look at this site but it hasn't been updated since last August.

I don't even know for sure if there is going to be an event, but Todd Slaughter from the British fanclub said that Rolf was making a special trip to Memphis in August and was going to present his painting to Priscilla and Lisa.

When Thomas presented his painting recently, they had a special event for the occasion, so I don't see why they wouldn't have something planned for Rolf as well. Even if it wasn't a public event, you would think at this stage that something would be written about it.

What a talented man Rolf Harris is. I've seen that painting Elvis in Blue, good to be able to put a person behind that portrait.
