Elvis Lives, the 25th anniversary concert recorded live in Memphis in August 2005 has gone straight in at No.1 of the UK DVD / Video charts.
So when a film of Elvis in concert, which is a actually a recording of a film of Elvis in concert, as projected onto a giant arena screen can make it to the top of the charts the possibilities for future releases are endless!!

This is a great recording of a very exciting concert, which will only be surpassed if you saw the man himself. Failing that, those of you who have tickets for the 30th anniversary concert in Memphis this year are very lucky people.

Elvis Lives was released on Mar 5.

RIGHT ON ELVISLADY!!! (y)

ELVIS LIVES is an excellent DVD, although my one small criticism of it is that they should have left the interviews with Joe Moscheo, Joe Guercio, Ronnie Tutt and Gordon Stoker out of the main concert itself and just kept them in the interview in the extras segment! Although I found the interviews very enjoyable to watch, I thought interjecting them throughout the main concert detracted from the show a bit...just my opinion though... :hmm:

But overall, this is a GREAT and long overdue DVD!!! :D

TCB!
