This just came up on YouTube.

HIC Arena, Hawaii, November 1972. Quality isn't perfect, but it's the best quality I've ever seen of this stuff. Goes for about 10 minutes. Cool. (y)

Oh, and like a lot of other people, I'm still waiting for all that other "pro" footage, the existence of which was being bandied about on here a while back. Everyone's gone so quiet now! Where are you kids, you know who you are! ;)

May I assume that this footage will be posted somehere publicly, or are we going to have to endure the old "We can't post it on here 'cause someone will steal it" line again? Or will it be available on DVD somewhere at an inflated price?

PS: You say spring - is this the US spring? When is that please? We are just in autumn here in Australia ...

Well it's spring in Europe and I'm pretty sure it's spring in the US as well.

Maybe they mean Sping 2008? or 2009 or 2010 or 2020!

They haven't proved anything except that they have a limited vocuabularly when they are challenged about the existence of this material.

Aggression is what they respond with - maybe we rattled a cage!

Either way, they have to prove it exists and until they do few will believe them. So they can rattle on about it all they like, they haven't supplied the goods.

Of course...........maybe Wanda has the stuff, Elvis probabaly gave it to her and shes going to release it in August for the 30th - that's it!

Ive got some footage from vegas 75 with Elvis wearing the black two piece outfit.It's awesome quality but it's still 8mm.Personally I think some mistake a 1st generation copy of footage for pro.

Perhaps, yeah. As I've said all along, I would love to be proven wrong about all this "pro" footage ... so I look forward to at least 30 seconds being posted on here "in the spring" so we can all see it. (y)

Well the video was a great watch. Not sure if its "pro" shot footage or not but still great nonetheless.

Looked alot like the footage thats on the Blue Hawaii 1972 dvd...about the same quality too:hmm:

he also sent me some great 76 footage definetly pro, along with photos from memphis july,05,1976, i never seen them before, he was a nice guy to me, in trades.

i have just been emailed by the colonel telling me that memphis has been banned from mb.can anybody confirm this. memphis 77 is one of the good guys in the elvis world he has sent me and others on here free dvd of concert
footage. in recent days he has been under attack by srj 1967 and in particular
in this thread by 0349054. lets get memphis back on this forum and lets stop the abuse/insults and lets all be friends and show respect to each other (y)

i can confirm memphis sent me (free) a dvd of 75 vegas footage.now why can`t some persons on this mb respect others views without fighting or insulting others.if you don`t like a topic ignore it and go onto another one.

HE asked me if I had a good dvd of Pittsburg, I said I did and then he asked if it was first generation ( this was in response to me asking him if I could buy a copy of Memphis 76, a concert I attended, for my brother and I). Anyway, I told him I had spent around 30.00 dollars for it and it was the best I had seen. I sent it to him . He emailed me getting hostile about the dvd saying it was crap and how he only wanted originals and on and on. He told me he would send mine back. I waited a few weeks then contacted him and he stated he did and then accused me of lying about the dvd and taking four weeks ( actually 3 days) to mail it. I still haven't received the dvd back or a copy of Memphis 76, and it's been a month and a half. Don't think I'll be seeing it at all now. Too bad when Elvis fans take advantage of others.

Excuse me, but neither I nor 0349054 are "attacking" this person.

We are challenging him to prove that he has professionally-shot footage, that is all. He keeps saying he has it, then refuses to put anything up on here or anywhere else.

In fact, he was the one attacking others on this site with rather vicious PMs. I would assume that was the reason he was banned, if he has been. Since I was publicly rebuked for using the b-word to describe Colonel parker in another thread (shock, horror ... I'm sure members were mortally offended by this ... not) it stands to reason memphis77 may have been banned for threatening to kill 03.

I also would not like to see memphis77 banned for long as I would like to have him finally put up this footage.

I do respect other forum members, but not if it appears that they are giving false and misleading information. If actual pro footage of Elvis ends up on here, I will be the first person to acknowledge that it does in fact exist.

I would be greatly surprised if he sent you "pro" footage for free.As I said the quality of 1st generation 8mm video is quite good.There is a lot of high quality footage available if you know the right people.
I read the comments that memphis77 sent to 03' in a pm.They were outrageous.If he's not permantely banned he's lucky.I cant believe that some people take the boards so seriously that they would threaten violence.Pure stupidity.

i highly doubt your story after he sent me the pms you were sending him, he asked you if you had a first run copy of that show, and you hounded him , and he askedd if it was first run to send it and if it wasn't don't bother, so be honest in your postings, you are clearly lying, shall i post the e mails for you?

He is an aggressive, disturbed person - this is evident both from his posts on this thread of threats to me, and also the PM's he sent me that I posted on this thread.

I am not going to say anything else about him, other than I am glad he is gone and that I never had much respect for him or ever believed a word out of his mouth.

He sent fan footage to people......wheres this pro stuff? Doesent exist I guess.

it's obvious he threatens you in many ways, i would be happy to send you a sample dvdr of the pro footage and zeroxes of the photos, leave me an adress in my box. can you also post anything that is rare or unseen?

Sure go ahead. I can post the pms he sent me to0, asking about a "Pittsburg 76) dvd, good copy? I said yes and then he said "first gen . copy?" I said it was pretty good, and so I sent it. Now it's ok if it isn't, because I am no expert. But atleast send it back, I'll even pay for the postage for it. I liked it and it's my only copy. I asked him that and he said he would. I haven't received it and I sent him my address on Feb. 9th. (Look at the pms if you have them). I'm not trying to start a war, but don't call me a liar if you don't have all the facts, or even if you do, just disagree. This isn't a murder case. It's these kind of post wars and comments that sort of made me leave this board for a while in the first place. I know that Memphis77 is your friend, and you feel the need to defend him. That's fine and I understand. But calling names on message boards, or even in pms, is a bit extreme and juvinile, don't you think. You can have your opinion and justify it, that's fine, but please cool it with all the hostility. You and Memphis seem ready to pounce on anyone.

We are all Elvis fans here, and by that, sort of a family. I came here originally because it was a place to talk about Elvis, my only place, and after spending time on other sites, seemed a safe haven. And it has, but for the last few months, it seems to be going south a bit. I know a few bad apples can spoil the whole bunch, so I keep coming back, and thank God for the moderators. They seem to be level headed, as is most of the people that post here. And there are so many that are knowledgeable, it truly is an Elvis Utopia.

Please, please, please, " Can't we just all .... get along?"
