Elvis in Graceland pics

Just curious, does anyone know why there are no pictures of Elvis inside the house of Graceland other than the one shown on him at the piano and sitting on the sofa in the living, both appearing to have been taken the same day? Seems odd that they are no pictures of him especially in the Jungle Room where he spent so much time in the early years there. Diane

I'm not sure but there are, in fact, other pics of Elvis in Graceland...most notably during December of 1970 where Elvis and all the guys are holding their Shelby county, TN Sheriff badges.

Thank you Tony, I'd forgotten about those pictures and it reminded me of a few others when Lisa was a baby. I guess it's the lack of pictures in the Jungle Room that has me the most puzzled. Diane

Diane, I remember pics when Elvis was opening Christmas presents. He was sat beside a Christmas tree and they said that they were taken inside Graceland

I have heard there were photos taken of Elvis while recording From Elvis Presley Boulevard Memphis Tennessee in the Jungle Room...but Elvis didn't want that they were publicated,so that still hasn't happen....

Thank you Bittersuite, I've been remembering more and more pics of Elvis in Graceland including the ones you mentioned. I should have thought this post over before I submitted it. :D It was pictures of Elvis in the Jungle Room that I really wondered about.

ElvisHimself, thanks for your information about the Jungle Room sessions. That's really what I was talking about and I hope you are right and that EPE will soon release some pictures on him in those sessions or just relaxing around that room.(y)

if i'm correct those pictures or not in the hands of EPE...
they weren't publicated beacause Elvis didn't want that they were publicated,and the one who has those pictures keeps himself on his word and don't publicated them

The two photo's taken from Pauls great site were taken at the same time as the recording session. The photo from inside of Gracelan was taken downstairs, in front of the bar.

Please read what I write before answering. I know when the recording sessions took place. If you checked out my link to Pauls site you would see I didn't refer to the photos taken in December of 1975. But photos taken on the 3rd of February 1976. If the link failed to work, I' m sorry. Just log on to Pauls site and check out candids filed under the year 1976.

Thank you Eivind, I checked out the picture on Paul's site and it sure does look like it could have been taken in the Jungle Room - Paul's caption with the picture says it was. Diane

Diane. The photo of Elvis sitting down was done for an ID, either a police badge or a drivers licence, don't remember which one at the moment. However, it was not taken in the Jungleroom, but downstairs in his tv room. What you see behind him is the bar area.
