Linda has an interesting story regarding one of the photos and the song Memphis, Tennessee that Elvis performed on this show. She asked me to post it here for her.

The picture of the girl giving Elvis the red phone (you can see it laying on the stage) was a friend of mine at the time. She was so worried that Elvis wouldn't like the phone, but I told her he would love it. You can see Elvis is reading a note she handed him, telling him she had just gotten back from seeing him in Vegas and how much she enjoyed the trip. Elvis took the telephone, put it up to his ear and started singing "Memphis" while walking around the stage with the phone at his ear. Do you know that song? Some of the lyrics are, "she's the only one who'd call me here from Memphis, Tennessee. Marie is only 6 years old, information please, put me through to her in Memphis, Tennessee."

Those are some of the most unflattering shots of Elvis I've ever seen....(n) It's just amazing to see how things could change appearance-wise for Elvis in such a short time....he looked much better as the February tour continued....

This suit was made because of Elvis being part Cherokee indian . The Hi def pics of the suit are amazing, the embroidery on the kick pleats alone are works of art, let alone the whole suit.

This suit was the last great jumpsuit and one of my favourites but only in the summer of 75 . Personally i think Elvis should have stopped wearing the jumpsuits after the summer of 75. After that Elvis did not have the build anymore. They made him look even heavier than he was and drew attention to the weight he did have but this suit was incredible and is certainly in my top 5.
