A registration of Elvis' tour in April '72. The directors made it to get Elvis out of his Golden cage. 'We didn't like to ask him questions, or make him say things. We just showed him some pictures and taped his reaction. Finally he forgot the recorder and we had two good sessions with him. Not only to complete the movie, but saying something about the man too.' It became Elvis' last movie.

Another piece of trivia, Martin Scorsese, worked on the montague segments on this film. He is now a legendary award winning director. His big films "Taxi Driver", "Goodfellas" etc... and recently "The Aviator".
