Just wondering if "I got Lucky is available on cd. Anybody know? Oh, Also I'm looking for the complete Omaha and Rapidcity shows on cd. I have the Elvis In Concert cd, but I know it's incomplete and out of order.

I think you mean the Camden album I Got Lucky ?? Yes, it was released in the 1990?s by the German RCA Music Club. Its very rare these days and hard to find!!:king:

Recently, RCA has begun reissuing the Camden budget LP's on CD!! So far, YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE, LET'S BE FRIENDS, ALMOST IN LOVE and ELVIS SINGS FLAMING STAR have been released!! (y)

I would guess now that RCA has started releasing these budget LP's on CD, that the other ones such as I GOT LUCKY, C'MON EVERYBODY, SEPARATE WAYS, ELVIS SINGS HITS FROM HIS MOVIES VOL. 1 and BURNING LOVE AND HITS FROM HIS MOVIES VOL. 2 will eventually be released! Even though these old Camden albums seemed kind of odd back in the day, every now and then it's kind of fun to pull one of these albums out and give it a spin on the ol' turntable....so it's really kind of neat, in my opinion, that RCA is working on releasing these on CD!!!

I actually just bought elvis sings flaming star, you'll never walk alone, and almost in love on cd because I saw them in the store. I hope they do release the rest of the ones you mentioned because I would buy them.

Haven't heard any news about the other ones being released yet, but as I said, I am sure since they have already released a few of the Camden LP's on CD that the rest will surely follow!!

They are DEFINITELY improved over their vinyl counterparts!! ;)

Most of these Camden LP's have never been released on CD before, so there really isn't a way to compare them that way of course...but although I am certainly not a master in sound quality of CD's in any way, I would have to say the sound quality on these CD's is very good to excellent, in my opinion. :hmm:

If nothing else, I think they're fun just to have in my collection to remind me of my childhood days when I would pull these LP's out of my Mom and Dad's record collection and listen to them....a little nostalgia for me!! :D
