On the dvd The Elvis I Knew by Charlie Hodge he has many great home movies of Elvis on stage in 1975 wearing different versions of these two piece suit.s.

Not by my knowledge. If he ever wore it on stage it must have been during his March 1975 Las Vegas season.

The only time Elvis wore this suit during a tour was on May 6th, 1975 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. It's well possible that it was also used during his March 1975 Las Vegas engagement, but I don't have a precise date for that occasion.

Tommy, my comment was based on the suit this thread started with. You can see photo's on top of this page. I guess you are probably refering to the one with the flames on the shoulders and the legs. If that is the case I can only say: join the club. I wonder IF Elvis ever worn that one.

This suit (from the top of this thread) was worn on two occasions on tour: in Tampa Apr 26 evening show and Murfreesboro Apr 29.

According to my info Elvis wore the white two piece on April 29th. And in Tampa he wore the "Black Two-piece with Red Scallops''.

I really like these suits from Spring 1975. It's too bad, IMHO, that Elvis didn't wear these suits in 1976 and especially 1977. I have often thought that these suits would have been more flattering in these later years. I guess the jumpsuits became part of the "act" in those later years.
This particular one with the leaves I especially like. Are there any professional photographers who were at the concerts Elvis wore this suit who took pictures?
