"Gold Lion" by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs! & "Heartbreak Hotel" by Elvis Presley are the only straight rock and roll singles on that list, seems that guitar groups are on their way out...

Well that's what some people have been saying since what, 50 years? and ElvisPresley proves to be The King being on both lists, on those very first ones when you only saw a couple of rock songs among lots of bad stuff like Perry Como's Hot Diggity Dog Ziggity Boom, and in the recent ones when once again easy buck music dominate todays charts but theres still Presley and their pupils proving rock music wasn't just a fad from the 50's (Note the amount of the trademark Elvis echo on the live recordings of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs! and the raw sexuality and loud clothing of their singer Karen O, check out their live verion of "Tick" to know what I mean by seen so much Elvis in them)

P.S. And don't forget Mr. Chuck Berry made a world tour last year baby! Long Live Rock and Roll!!!

This a great thing, does anyone know how many singles it actually sold. I know singles do not sell like they did from the 50s-into the 80s. I have also been curious to hear what ALLC sold all told.
