***************************
Also, more news for the next Las Vegas in December (opening should be December 17), nothing official yet but will let you know.
***************************
Elvis turned down 1 million dollars for one concert in Paris, France, saying they could not understand what he is singing...Hey Elvis, then how come the Japanese can understand and not speak the language? Music is a universal language you know.
***************************
Rumor....RCA RECORDED THE NEW YEAR'S EVE (PITTSBURGH) CONCERT AND SAYS THERE WILL BE A MID-YEAR `LIVE` ALBUM RELEASED. It will have 28 songs on it and some of the new songs are ``Unchained Melody`` played and sang by Elvis only no back up band or singers, ``Fairytale``, ``Rags To Riches``, ``Auld Lang Syne`` and of course ``Happy Birthday`` to Elvis.
***************************
Another prediction by National Enquirer that Elvis should aware in April, there will be a robbery at Graceland and many of his treasured possessions will be taken....
***************************
There will be another book on Elvis' life, this one will be by Elvis' ex-secretary of 13 years, Betsy Yancy. It is expected to be published by the end of the year.
***************************
The MILLION DOLLAR lips that crooned ``Love Me Tender`` are about to mouth some less romantic words. The hand that slapped the exiest hips of the rock n' roll era is raided in anger. Elvis Presley is ``ALL SHOOK UP`` ...and about to blew his top.
Who was the target of the King of Rock's outburst? A photographer who`d caught Presley in one-ungarded moment...out shopping. Elvis had popped into a sports shop to buy some equipment for his gymnasinum at his mansion in Memphis, Tennessee, when he spotted the photographer clicking away.
The 41 (1976) year old superstar who is in training to lose weight for his next Las Vegas cabaret date, moved in, arms moving. So did his bodyguards and personal doctor...to stop what could have been a very ugly scene. Elvis doesn't like being pestered by photographers. He rarely goes out in public and when he does he likes to be left alone.

NEW ALBUM:
FROM THE ``COUNTRY MUSIC`` MAGAZINE APRIL 1977
The album is really great and especially to remember the real Elvis, in the form of a complete collection of TV airshots from early 1956, when, fresh from success on the Deep South C&W Circuit and newly signed to RCA Victor, Elvis went to New York for six appearances on the ``Dorsey Brothers's Stage Show`` months before his celebrated Ed Sullivan debut.
Before you start drooling, a warning 1977...quality sound isn't here. In fact, the whole set sounds as if were recorded by a dime-store tape-recorded buried under a winter coat. But it's worth it, for aside from his Sun and first RCA singles, nothing has better managed to capture the awesome, violent-seeming powerof Elvis' early stage shows.
Great album to get now.
