Last night me and my girlfriend began a conversation about EP and I told her some things about blacks who were close to him and I mentioned his black receptionist Maggie. She asked me who is she and I told her how she said EP was like a father than an employer to her. Anyhow I started thinking, why hasn't she spoken out publicly before about EP? She did for the successful book Careless Love and told some interesting stories about how EP treated her wonderful and protected her. She has said in another book that she was there the night he died at Graceland and stayed with his body until paramedics got there. But she hasn't come to speak out publicly for some reason. She has also been mentioned in a couple of paperback novels from the late 70's where a white man told her she could carry a pale of water on her behind and not spill a drop and EP threw him out into the cold for what he considered to be a racist comment. And another story was the night an NFL Hall Of Fame coach went to visit EP that he made a racist comment that if he threw a banana to his black players that they wouldn't drop it, and EP got up and walked out of the room afterwards in disgust.

So my reason for this thread is to ask a question? Who is she and why has she not been mentioned in other books from the Mafia and others? Also, Nancy Rooks said in her book that EP dated a black girl who worked for him at Graceland. Could this be the girl? I just find this interesting as to why we haven't heard much of her but yet she seemed to be so close to EP at the time of his death.

Can anyone answer these questions for me? (y)
