Look at the length of the hem turned up. And you can see the twill weave of the wool gabardine if you look closely.

Strange that the hem would be so high considering the Jumpsuits were tailor made for Elvis, you would think that the would have known his height. in my opinion that looks like poor workmanship :hmm:

The extra long hem is to add weight to the fabric at bottom of the legs so they will stay straight and flow nicely.

Thanks for the reply, I will have a look to see if this is across other Jumpsuits, I have heard in the past that small weights have been added to performers clothes to do this, didn't know if this had been done with Elvis' costumes?
