The UK music charts have been changed to now taking downloads into sale figures. What this essentially means is that if any record whether it is new or old gets thousands of downloads it will make it into the charts.
This is great news for Elvis fans, if for instance a film or programme plays an Elvis single and it triggers customers to download it from the internet, it gives the possibility of getting chart success.
This is a truer reflection of what people are buying out there, much better than the selective Cd's out in the shops.
Watch out chart toppers :P
