Elvis & "Yesterday"

hello everyone,

the version of Elvis singing "yesterday" on youtube, from the 1970 rehearsals, i find haunting ..... i like it alot ..... is there anyway to get just the audio of it.

There is a version of Yesterday on the Fort Baxter bootleg CD GET DOWN AND GET WITH IT (Fort Baxter 2204), from the July 15, 1970 rehearsals.

That's the only one I know of ...

This is of course available on the 3-disc THAT'S THE WAY IT IS soundtrack album ... that would be your best bet.

hey ..... thanks alot, i have heard the one on "that's the way it is" ... but it does not seem like the same version as on the video .... do you know if the bootleg is that exact version and if so ...... how could i go about buying it.

Yeah, it's the same version.

As for trying for a copy of the CD, it is long-deleted. Maybe serach the internet. I saw it on eBay a while ago, but it's no longer there.

There are five or six great CDs comprising the July and August '70 rehearsals.

If worse comes to worst, maybe there's some way you could record it from DVD to CD. I'm sure there is a way, but someone more technical may know how to do it.
